European gas prices weakened

European gas prices weakened overall yesterday, pressured by the expected rise in temperatures from today. The drop in parity prices with coal for power generation (both EUA and coal prices were down) provided additional downward pressure.

On the pipeline supply side, Norwegian flows were slightly down yesterday, averaging 344 mm cm/day, compared to 346 mm cm/day on Monday. As for Russian flows, they were slightly up, at 326 mm cm/day on average, compared to 324 mm cm/day on Tuesday.
